Thanks bro great video it really helped me a lot. I just bought a 13 inch Macbook Pro with the 10th gen and upgraded storage, and I am honestly considering returning it for the 16 inch. It just feels underwhelming. Unfortunately, I do want it to be my everything, as you said, I have a very mobile life and I loved building desktops, but I can't do that right now, so I am trying to get a really good laptop. I'm going to try to do everything I want to do with the 13 macbook pro first though, I'd like to stick with this form factor. I'm learning ux design and video editing. I probably don't need a 16, but I can afford it and I really loved the screen. The 13 inch screen is just so small. I'm a big guy, 6'1", and the laptop just feels so tiny lol. I'm coming from a 7lbs 17 inch laptop. I'm thinking the 16 inch 4lbs macbook pro will actually seem light to me still, I think I might do it. I don't know! So hard to choose, so stressful to choose because I know I won't have this much money to spend on a laptop again for years. gahhhh lol

I've been unsure about a 16 inch macbook pro because of the high price, but as a computing & game development student who relies on a portable machine but needs more screen space than my current 2012 13 inch, I know the 16 inch is the one. Most of you probably don't know the exact difference between macbook air and macbook pro, let me tell you one thing. If your ONLY usage is surfing the web, get the air, if you do anything else, get the pro, basically what im saying is get the pro, because you won't regret it later. If you get the air, there is a pretty high chance you will regret it because its so slow when you open up any program other than the browser.

Super review....very clean and precise...i had a question..If am using a hard disc to attach to the MacBook Air/Pro and have videos on it which i would edit using the iMovie, would it be good on the Air because i like the physical function row buttons over the Touch Bar. Also I already have a MacBook Pro early 2015 model with all its ports. Its just that its beginning to slow down and the screen is looking dull. Also the speakers are kinda muffled now. I also got an iPad Pro thinking that I can get away using it but my videos don’t even open on the iPad ☹️ Can we get the QuickTime player on iPad Pro maybe that might solve my problem.

My MacBook Air is dogshit now it lasted 5 years, I miss being able to use steam (32-bit games) and having a functioning battery

I disagree about recommending 8th gen to app developers; 10th gen will have better longevity than 8th gen processor; I own a 2011 mbp 13" and upgraded the ram to 16GB and added a 256GB SSD and the ONLY thing that holds me back of keep using my bad boy is his poor cpu performance. I cannot, for all the universe force, run anything smoothly on that machine, specially iPhone simulators. I can hear the laptop screaming when I hit Xcode.

Also, the feeling that I have owning this 2011 mbp is that I think that if I ever had a 2013 cpu, it would last me at least 2 more years. Apple only support OS updates from 2012, that's one of those little things that only very few people on earth know because they took care of their machine. I never seen a reviewer go so far in longevity, they are always living in the fast consumer world. 1st world problems I think...

Let's hope that Apple is listening to you because the lack of upgradeability of the hard drive and RAM of Macs is why I have not upgraded my MacBook PRO since 2011. Correction, I did not buy a new one. I have upgraded the RAM and moved to an SSD. It seems environmentally unsound to prevent us from upgrading the hard drive or RAM. But, I am sure it sells more MacBooks.
