I recently visited to asus store in delhi, india. All features seems good in their newest rog strix G15 model of india. (i7-10750H, rtx 2060, 16 gb ram 3200 MHz, 1 TB SSD). They told that laptop is magnesium body not plastic. But I am worried about display quality. What do you all recommend?

It's loud, just make sure you have headphones in. It's heavy too. I got the one with RTX2070 and i7, it's fast and very good. I play games like red dead 2. Smooth, detail is amazing. Just runs a little loud with the fans.

Got it for 1000 CA(~780 US) super happy about it. but beware this 144HZ panel is not as good as it sounds, have poor sRGB rating(~60%) and slow black to white response time (~25ms) which is below average even at this price point. but for gaming I would say it is still decent enough for me, but esports fan may find the screen response time a killer. other than that and short battery life I have no complains. liquid cooling solution is a huge bonus you cant really find elsewhere especially at this price point.

I have the Strix G15 i7 10870 rtx 2060 - guys let me tell you something - this laptop has a weird buzzing sound, even with fans off and speakers muted, its like an electric buzz or a short circuit I guess. Got me really scare and returned it for a new one and the sound is still there so I guess that this from the model not my device in particular, weird. Anybody who knows where the sound is coming from ? processor ? M2 ? Some transistor maybe ? I'm really curious

Bought one for €1625.00 (original price was €2039.00) with the specs of Core I7 10th gen 16GB RAM 1TB SSD 8GB NVidia RTX 2070 but the battery charge didn't last more 1.5 hours when I play battlefield V.

Can you adjust the monitor's refresh rate in windows display settings to something lower than 144hz or is it locked at 144hz? I have a laptop that is 120hz but has an option to go to 48hz. I just wanted to know if this can do the same.

Best 1500$ gaming laptop?

I think the no webcam thing is a save, since I've been having privacy issues lately after just 2 days ago when I was using my old laptop and the webcam just started glowing. If the webcam glows, it means its recording. And I wasn't recording at that time too so I was creeped out. So from then on I had a sticker put on my webcam. Definitely can't wait to get my hands on a no webcam laptop when it gets here.

Honestly, this comes in around the same price as all the other laptops with similar specs. There is a model that comes with an I5 instead of an I7 that's only $750-$800 which makes this the best value laptop under $1000 easily. Pretty much everything else in that range comes with a 60hz screen and a 1650 instead of a 1650 ti. I do think that particular model is a Best Buy exclusive though.
