That camera is not needed for me. Nord easily takes the win with screen/battery/charging/fingerprint sensor. Plus OnePlus has been very durable for me as I'm still running a 3T and it's a 5 year old phone. I'm handing it on to family memeber

I agree with Google's positioning for the Pixel phones. Google is going back to the Nexus roots of their phones. I think that is the right strategy.

I agree completely, Google is positioned in a place where they could master the mid range market with a great, great, though maybe not the best camera, great but not the best ,screen, vanilla android that runs smoothly, low cost materials, frequent updates, low cost consumer pricing, low production cost due to their mastery of the software experience, snappy performance in average usage, and boom you've got a winner who could saturate the market indefinitely.

I've been interested in the Pixel phones since they were introduced, but back then was an iPhone user. By the time I switched to Android, I didn't like the Pixels out then (3 and then 4 I thnk). 4a and 5 come out and I knew it was time. I was all set to get the 5 and at the last minute, I suddenly couldn't justify the extra money and got the 4A. And I absolutely love it. Perfect size and specs, future proof enough for the 'average' user. I use mine for Amazon delivery, and it handles it like a champ. Love having the dual sim, battery life is great. Last few phones I've use-Moto One Action, Samsung S8, One Plus 7 Pro, iPhone XR. This by far is my favorite. Great review!!

Pixel 4a is the best pixel phone after the first pixel, no notch,great size, best software,best camera, smooth as butter. i hated all the notch pixels and was about to switch to samsung. But glad they made pixel 4a. Loving it!!

YES! I'd like Google to go aggressive with midrange. I want their Nexus 7 2013, where it was a really great hardware for that price at that time. Even has wireless charging eons ago and most tablets today don't even have that.

Love the 4a. The build quality is excellent. Feels good in the hand. The plastic case just makes sense. It’s hard to understand why manufactures push the “premium” all glass phones. Good for repair companies I guess???🤔 As an added bonus Google also includes Android updates for 3 years! 💥👍🏼👍🏼

I kinda want both. I have a Note 20 Ultra (I'm in the UK, so got a HK import with the Snapdragon because the Exynos is crap) I want Google to make things like the 4a and 5. But I also want them to make an Ultra phone for their enthusiasts. A Pixel 5 XL (or Ultra) with a bigger panel and 865 would get me away from Samasung. Honestly the camera on the Note 20 Ultra is garbage even compared to my old Pixel 3XL. It simply cannot cope with moving objects or lower light. The pixel produced consistently flawless pictures with 1 press of the shutter button, even when inside taking pictures of moving kids or pets. The Note 20 Ultra cannot do that, its a blurry frustrating, awful image processing mess. Google's computational photography cannot be beaten when it comes to one shot perfect photos. Of course with Videos or landscape shots, the Note 20 eats the Pixel alive.

"Useless cameras" I tend to agree even though I have a Samsung A71. I use the wide angle occasionally and the macro hardly at all. I actually miss my Pixel 2 as the experience was better overall. Google really nails the camera quality and overall usability.

Iphone SE (2016)....used it for three years and phone did not bootup after a 13 point something update..when took it to apple centre they told the motherboard had gone.... Quickly switched to an Android One phone which is Nokia 6.1 plus .. (emergency purchase within a day...) ...not saying it is bad but ain't too good ... Since my highschool I used a Nokia phone....(nokia & sony ericsson lover since childhood) . Sony out of the competition in the recent years. Then I was looking for iphone SE 2020 ...but apple gave the unsold iPhone 8 models in the name of SE 2020 🥴😒 calling it as a budget phone with no 3.5mm headphone jack and no edge to edge display. And now Apple ,out of nowhere ,gave all those things (that we expected in the SE 2020) on their recent iphone 12 mini ..with exaggerated pricing with no adapter and headphones and selling like diamonds. I cannot afford it. And am a compact phone user. Really want the iPhone 12 mini but my wallet says a big NO. Final Verdict : GOOGLE PIXEL 4A , my next phone 🔥 Edit : Thankyou for the excellent review about the 4A .. ❤️ from India 🇮🇳

Why do tech reviewer's puts every new phone facing down on the table? Doesn't it scratches the screen though?. I still put my 3years old phone on table with screen side up.

a 350$ every 2 years is still cheaper then a new iphone every other year. and i think the pixel 4a is for those like me who are to cheap for 5g and dont care about all these extra things. i use my phone for music, and light gaming at my work breaks

I get 4a first bad thing what i find is cant charge it whit my normal good anker charger only takes charge from own charger and cord... have to look in to it more..
