I bought the Pixel 5 and found out that the 5 in the name refers to how many weeks it'll last. Got a replacement (23 days later) Sold it. Bought out my contract. Returned to this video to try and figure out where I went wrong; like a save point. Think I'll try something completely different with this spawn.

why is every review of the s20 fe always the 5g version, yes i know it has a better processor and more ram? BUT its also more expensive and for me since 5G isnt a thing where I live and im paying a monthly phone contract and there was almost a £20 a month difference, i went for the 4g version

In India s20fe is on a 50% discount so I think pixel lost here if we consider price to performance. Only nord is the alternative here and I rather not buy that.

3 months later and the Pixel is devaluing like crazy and the markets love the S20 FE 5G. Samsung did this phone right.

Magnetic stripe payment that works universally with all credit card terminals is a huge plus in COVID pandemic days. Samsung has the monopoly on that tech.

I think the note 20 was made because Samsung had the S20 Fe in mind. The back is almost the same, the cameras are the same, just a 120hz screen upgrade, the note 20s are made just for the ultra to look good , and make way for the FE.

PERSONALLY, as a pixel 2 xl user who just switched to the FE, I MUCH rather have the FE. (wouldn't have gotten it otherwise) I think it looks more sleek, it feels great in the hand, and to be honest, i ahd my pixel 2 xl replaced 10 times, and 9 of those were factory were due to major factory faults, and sadly just don't trust google/s QA.

I thought the ring around the camera was for notifications, not a piece of metal designed to make the FE obviously less attractive than it's more expensive cousins. That just sucks. C'mon Sammy, Gorilla glass 3 AND a stupid for-no-good-reason metal ring around the camera?

idk the aesthetics of the s20 FE are fine. hardly noticeable for most people especially with its significantly lower price tag. Side by side the thicker bezels are the most noticeable and thats not really noticeable when looking at it on its own

The Galaxy S20 FE has everything from 2020, the Pixel 5 has everything from 2016 except the camera and display. Sad to see Google cutting corners even on their flagship phone.

When american review the samsung phone, they put "snapdragon" chipset while in asia and europe samsung using "exynos"

Bought s20 fe as samsung was giving 100$ off and 380 for my old s10 in trade in. I got the new one for like 200$. I can tell u, this is the best phone I have used- in pretty much all departments. My iphone 11 has a marginally better camera and that's pretty much it

U picked the worst color of the FE lol to compare it to mystic bronze in that cheap looking navy blue, that color isn't gonna look good in a matte finish at all imo, dark blue phones need to be shiny to look premium. Anyway the s20 FE is a asthetically waaaay nicer than the pixel imo, if you had picked any other color

The reason for buying really boils down to what is the best i can get for the money i am willing to spend (also carriers come into play)... hence i got the FE due to this, not even my first choice but not regretting any, this is an awesome buy (my wife got the smaller S20)...

I just got the fe and its amazing and I got it for 415 bucks cause I traded in my used samsung s9

pixel 5 all day. i like the way it process pictures, really good battery life that lasts more than a day without charging and I personally prefer the clean software. Hate the bloated samsung ui with features and apps i will never use. Sure you can disable but the not the same as deleting them. And it will still ask for updates which you don't have install but still shows in the list of apps that need uodate. Clean UI all day any day. The P 5 does what I need it to do without any unnecessary crap. Never switching again. That's just me.

Love my pixel 5. The FE is too large. Battery life on the pixel 5 is awesome I never had my phone die yet. The phone feels awesome and haven't and likely won't notice the processor for a long time. Photos are stellar too. That said coming from dual speakers on my S9 the speaker's sound kinda bad. I miss my headphone jack. I don't miss the Samsung UI in the slightest. And the adaptive brightness on the pixel 5 is EXTREMELY aggressive.

I used to when phones where slow but now honestly I setup my dads Samsung A40 several months ago and was wondering where the f*** the money went into with my $800 Pixel 4XL. After using the pixel 4 XL I came to the conclusion that I don't care for big heavy phones, I got my self a Pixel 5 last week and love it... The size, the battery life and the wide angle camera along with a IP rating and 5G. You don't need 10 core CPU's with 12GB RAM to watch Netflix, YouTube and browse the web. If Samsung S20 FE was a 6" screen with a metal back I would buy it... But 6.5"?... Nah, I'm good.

After several firmware updates to address the serious s20FE touchscreen ghosting issue, the problem is NOT 100% resolved ... and beginning to look like a hardware issue. Why is nobody here talking about this?

Yes! Main reason I didn't get the S20 FE and got the Pixel 5 instead. Plus here in AU the Pixel 5 is cheaper (compared too 5G model). Very happy with it, coming from a Galaxy S7.

I got my unlocked FE for $599 at Best Buy. Why would I pay extra for a Pixel 5? The only concern is that Samsung won't deliver on OS updates

Samsung came out and said they will support their phones to up to three years now. So buying a pixel is only for stock Android. Yes the have a great camera. But others are catching up with them now in the camera department. They need to upgrade that camera hardware

Hey Dave How much did google pay you to talk positive things about the pixel. I mean the selfie camera hardly bothers anyone and at that point your nitpicking against Samsung. I get the thing about the software but cameras. Like seriously if pixel dominates in low lights the FE dominates it overall. The selfie camera is better in the FE. Most importantly, you forget to tell about the 120 Hz in the FE. All I am saying my bro is that you were really unfair to the FE. So i had my hands on the s20+ and s20 fe, both exynos versions and what I've found is that the s20+ it's obviously better in taking photos because of the 64MP but... That only happened when you are outside, when there is a ton of light, when you go indoors, or somewhere where it doesn't have that much light, s20 fe... Is better, the s20+ is much softer, I think that's due to the to the megapixel count, the more megapixel you have, less light goes in to the sensor. So despite s20+ being shaper, the s20 fe is more balanced.

The Pixal 5 looks like a toy gadget that Tintin would have. This year the Pixals photography is of lower standard then usual.. It's as if Google have given up on the top tier and are happy inhabiting budget and mid tier.

Bought an A71 earlier this year but I can't lie the S20 FE has caught my attention. It's basically a A71 with flagship specs. I feel like if the added a HP jack it would have been the best phone of 2020

Yeah I feel like they put that silver ring around the front camera to set it apart from the rest of their devices. Almost how Car companies tweak little physical aspects of their Hybrid models that they also offer in diesel.
