I have a question and I need an professional answer if I'm going to buy a high end expensive gaming laptop like the new MSI GT 76 Titan with Intel 10th generation i9-10900K 5.0ghz cpu , latest Super RTX 2080 and 128gb of ram i want to know which will suit those specs better (3840x2160 IPS-Level) or (FHD 1920x1080 300Hz IPS-Level) ? i don't know if the 4k display is 60hz or 120hz they didn't write how much is it in their web sight so which of this two display should i go with ?

Can anyone tell me, if this laptop has any screen tearing as it does not have g-sync. And what happens to framerate if vsync is enabled, does it gets capped at 60 fps?

I think companies are getting a bit mixed up and it’s a bummer to see. Everybody is so focused on the hz right now because “GAEMER LUV FRAMES! FAST FRAMES BEST FRAMES!” - id rather see companies focus on making solid 4K HDR displays, with decent refresh rates and low latency, at a more affordable price. There is little to no competition for that market right now, and the displays are often INSANELY expensive to get a decent panel (in regard to laptops, they make the laptops more expensive as well). Pretty much everything within the next year or so will be designed to run at 4K, and the hardware can easy push it, so why care about a refresh rate so high that only a few select games will take advantage of it consistently and the return is marginal? This is a problem for both desktops and laptops right now.

I have an i5 6th Gen with a 2GB Nvidia 940M. When I am playing Battlefield 1, sometimes I get 14-19 fps (I know it because I have enabled the fps tracker on the far left top corner). Even 30 fps (that I get SOMETIMES when I am not engaging multiple enemies) feels ABSOLUTELY DIVINE 😭 !!!

you should have capped the fps on different levels so that you only change one variable at a time. That way you really know that it is the fps that makes the difference and not response time or something else

it's comical that the creators cling to 30 fps in the materials so tightly.

My favorite character is the reaper guy. he is very powerfull. special move, honestly is one of the best in the game and so he comes equipped with these two revolvers and only takes about 3 or 4 shots to actually execute a kill so it comes really in handy specially when you come from the side

Note: He's a GM level overwatch player. He actually plays video games. I really respect his opinion on gaming laptops.

You should've physically recorded the 300Hz display at 60FPS rather than electronically recording. Because of the motion blur effect you can really tell the difference it makes and the 300HZ display recorded at 60FPS will seem much smoother than a 60Hz display recorded at 60FPS.

GS66 Stealth 2020 keyboard is ruined with that FN key that is tiny, its annoying and its wrong, they could just have made the space bar 2 milimiters smaller, nobody would have noticed, but no, they had to ruin it, I'm so pissed off with it. Forget it.
