Google chose a new road with the mid-range processer. That's fine & dandy, just not my cup of tea. I'd much rather have a 865 or plus processor, and larger display. I'd be willing to pay up for that. But the five is a good phone especially the 🔋, it's just not for me. Keeping my 4xl!

Still miss how the iphone would automatically have slide shows off my pics and how notifications show up compared to the pixel 3XL. Is there a pixel 5xl? If this could change, the pixel would definitely be my first choice since I'm more of a picture person.

Cool phones? Yes, definitely. Just the Pixel 5 is $100 too expensive. Also, feel like Google missed an opportunity to throw on some cool colours on these phones, to make them stand out a bit.

Tbh the pixel was always surposed to be a midrange phone not 4a midrainge but just 600-700 not the 1000 that is now standard. And if you look alot of people agree because the 3a sold better than the 3 and the 4a sold better than the 4 and honestly they wont need to do a 5a as the 5 is now at a good price.

The new google phone is still using the 700 series Snapdragon processor. Can someone be kind enough to explain why are they not using 800 series processor yet?

Currently have the Pixel 4. Face unlock, once covid kicked in, has been a nightmare. You constantly have to remove your mask or punch in your pattern or pin. I'm all for having the fingerprint sensor back. I missed it so much.

I had a pixel 2xl for two and a half years, never had a single issue or complaint. Until I had a little water accident and was forced to upgrade. I got the s20+ and have had nothing but issues. I'll be getting a pixel 5 once I see them in stock.

Absolutely. The Pixel 5 is the upgrade from the Pixel 2 I've been waiting for. A real shame about them no longer offering unlimited Google Photo uploads at highest quality, but a trade off I'm willing to make.

Honestly since my pixel 4 xl was my first android phone since the note 2 in a while and soli worked really accurately for me and liked the face id I got dissapointed when the 5 axed those features . But I can't lie and say that 40% larger battery and a bit cheaper price don't compel to overlook removal of face id but I hope they can bring it back eventually

I'm excited for it. Switched to OnePlus 7Pro for my last phone and while I love it, I want faster updates and a better camera so I'm anxious to get back to a Pixel. Hope this one checks out once the reviews come in.

I don't think they "nailed it". Why? Because there's no wide angle selfie camera. They reduced the screen quality. More RAM is good, but they should also have done that in the past. I don't like the color options. Slow charging. Camera is good, but it hasn't changed. Not sure why they aren't going for a "regular" lense + tele + wide And that's more of an android issue, but they really should increase the time they provide updates for their phones. Don't get me wrong, I really like the Pixel lineup and I'm using Pixel phones since the Pixel 1 came out. They should just stop making compromises.
